VISIT THE HOUSE

               Solavalle is located in Ontoria, a small but livery village in the municipality of Cabezón de la Sal.  Once a faming village, and still surrounded by green meadows, Ontoria has an outstanding  situation: only 12 Kms. away from Comillas beach and Oyambre Natural Park, scarcely a 15 minutes drive from renowned Santillana del Mar   and San  Vicente de la Barquera, and some 30  minutes from Santander; a mere 10-minute drive inland lead into one of Cantabria´s best preserved valleys, Cabuérniga,  in Saja- Besaya Natural Park.
              
              The house itself has a privileged setting,  in the heart  of the town but surrounded by a spacious  private lawn and an old stone wall that  ensure privacy and isolate   it from the outside world. It offers  guests the possibility of enjoying the quiet and leisure  of the countryside, while only walking distance from most daily-needs shopping and services.

                    The   house is a traditional two-stories building in stone, fully renovated inside for comfort but with the personality of local rural architecture. The first floor comprises a big Kitchen-dining room (fully equipped,  including micro-waves), a   living room with a chimney, and a fully equipped bath. A wide hall, where the staircase leading  to the second floor also starts , communicates the various rooms. The upper floor consists of two bedrooms, the main one with a double bed and the other   with two single beds, a fully equipped bath, and a sitting room-bibliotheque for reading, watching TV or listening  to music (TV and music set provided), opening into the balcony.
